Wipro Academy of Software Excellence(WASE) and Wipro Software Technology Academy(WiSTA)are two innovative programs by wipro focusing on science graduates. These programmes aim to provide opportunity in the Earn-while-you-Learn space by giving young science graduates in best-in-class IT training along with 4years MS programme in IT(Sponsored by Wipro) from BITS, Pilani and VIT, Vellore.
WASE: Wipro Academy of Software Excellence
Wipro initiated WASE in 1995. It is the oldest and successful Earn while you learn programme.
WASE aim is providing job opportunities to the NON Engineering Graduates in IT. It is a 4year MS programme received from BITS, Pilani.Candidates can gain live project experience while earning.
Eligibility:
- B.Sc. (CS / IT / Electronics / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics) / BCA / BCM
- 50% aggregate marks in 10th & 12th
- 60% aggregate marks in graduation till date
- Mathematics as one subject in 12th – Mandatory
- Students currently in the final year of graduation
- 48months course divided into 8 semesters
- 4coures per semester
- Contact classes for 16 weeks conducted by BITS with 4 sessions over weekend, 2hrs/session
WASE comprises of two stages
1)Common Entrance Test
2)HR Interview

Monthly Scholarships:
First Academic Year : Rs.10,000
Second Academic Year: Rs.12,500
Third Academic Year: Rs.18,000
Fourth Academic Year: Rs.23,000

WiSTA:Wipro Software Technology Academy
WiSTA aims to provide an opportunity for young Science graduates to earn while you learn.
It is offering 4yrs MS programme in IT received from VIT University, Vellore, a leading quality
Higher education University.
Eligibility:
- B.Sc. Graduates in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Nutrition & Dietetics / Bioinformatics/ Visual Communication / Botany / Zoology / Biology / Marine Biology / Marine Biotechnology / Home Science / Hotel Management & Food Technology
- 50% aggregate marks in graduation
- Graduates of the year 2012
- 48months course divided into 8 semesters
- 4coures per semester
- Contact classes for 16 weeks conducted by VIT faculty with 4 sessions over weekend, 2hrs/session
- During Week days, involved in working on live projects
WiSTA comprises of two stages

How to Apply:
Employees have to refer candidates online in WipLinks via Refer Now>Refer a Fresher>Job Code 171 (For WASE) / Job Code 172 (For WiSTA)
Note
- Candidates who have applied with in the last 3 months (90 days) are NOT eligible to apply
- Employees have to refer candidates online against the relevant Job Code
- Referred Candidates are required to mention employee name and employee number on the resume for completing the employee referral procedure
- Candidates who confirm the source of referral will get another email, asking them to register and choose the preferred interview location
- Once the candidate chooses the preferred interview location, they will get an admit card via e-mail.ONLY candidates who get the admit card WILL BE allowed to attend the interview process
- Candidates should carry 2 passport size photos, original and photocopy of all marks sheets and a relevant photo ID proof in original (Voter’s ID, Passport, Driver’s License, PAN card) to the venue on the day of the interview
- The ER benefit of Rs. 3000 will be availed by employees and WASEians whose referrals join the WASE & WiSTA Program
- The referral procedure is considered complete only if the candidate confirms that you are the source of referral and posts the complete profile
